Don't get me wrong, I love fresh flowers, really I do. These beauties were given to me by my dear Alex. He came in to me with his buddy Kylie and said, "Happy Valentine's Day! These are for you!" How sweet! I love his thoughtfulness. But I know he does not have an account with the local florist, so that meant only one thing...that he had picked them from my flower beds (the ones I'm able to see from the kitchen window). He had picked 16 in all for me and then, bless his heart, he let Kylie pick four for herself. What a generous little gentleman he is! At least they look pretty gracing our kitchen table!
