A Favorite Thing...

I love this necklace. I got it for my birthday last month from A.J.'s parents. When I first opened it I thought it was a Star of David necklace (though I'm not Jewish), but upon closer examination I realized it is a heart and triangle intertwined. It's actually a symbol of adoption. I later learned that it "symbolizes the birth family, the child, and the adoptive family joined together by love, as equal partners in the adoption experience." How cool is that? I love it and I love wearing it!
