My Special Request...

I have to confess that I actually made a gift request for Mom's Day. My hubby knows how much I want to update our 1970's house, but this time around I requested a landscaping update to the back of our house. We went to the local home improvement store Saturday, and together we picked out three lovely bushes for our fully shaded back yard. It's difficult to find anything (including grass) that will grow in the fenced in portion of our back yard, but we managed to find something we'd never seen before! And I liked that they'll be a little more natural/free-growing, and not the sculptured style bush (definitely not my style). Behold!
