It's pretty warm today (at 7:22 p.m. the temp is 80 degrees). And it's very windy...again (there's a wind advisory, by the way). It's very dry (oh, and there's a fire weather warning too). Today was made a bit more interesting though by a lovely dust storm. So what exactly has our gorgeous Texas sky looked like for the past five hours? See below. That's a brownish sky, by the way.
This lovely photo was taken at 5:30 this evening.
*CORRECTION* - While the brown sky might have been due in part to dust, the bigger reason was due to the large grass fires scattered across North Texas!

A lot of the haze is from smoke. It smells really strong of smoke at our house along with all the dust. I've stayed in the house all afternoon because the smell is so strong.
