...Alex's age group got to hunt for eggs after Ayson's. Only in Texas would you have to hunt for eggs in a field of brush and big thistle-type weeds. And to make the hunt even more treacherous, they needed to keep their eyes open for the evil fire ants! Alex had a blast though. The eggs were a little more hidden so the kids had to work at it a little more. Alex ended the hunt with a bucket full of confetti eggs and plastic eggs filled with candy. Happy days.

I have to admit, that is not the most lush field of grass I have ever seen for an Easter Egg hunt. I'm sure they had fun though.
