One of the books Alex picked out at the library on Thursday was a book on volcanoes. At the back of the book was an experiment that would show kids roughly how a volcano works involving lots of flour. Yesterday A.J. took Alex out to the picnic table to do their mini science project. This was not the sort that Peter Brady did where his volcano science project spewed forth a gooey mess on Marsha and all of her gal pals out on the patio. This was much more subdued, though quite a mess was created after it was over and done with. Alex spent what must have been a half hour blowing flour everywhere outside with a straw. Lots of fun. :)
