Playing Army...
Of course "army" was a big part of the boys Christmas. It was what was most-requested on their lists. Everything. Ammo boxes, rubberband guns, belts, field bags and backpacks, you name it, it was on their lists. With the weather after Christmas being as pretty as it was, it wasn't long before the boys had suited up and were ready to "get their army on!" Ayson's ammo box was packed with four of his stuffed animals - you never know when you might need your stuffed kitty or dog! :) Love these boys!
While my parents were here, we, along with my mom, got my dad a beautiful die-cast huey helicopter (the exact model he flew as a pilot in Viet Nam) for his birthday/Christmas gift. The boys were drooling and desperately wanting to play with it, so we had to explain this was not a toy, but simply for looking at - of course that makes no sense to little boys! But they certainly appreciated it. :)
