It Clicked...

Lately Ayson has been a travelling man.  Last week he hopped on his John Deere tractor and sped across the fairway and onto the cart path.  Alex & his friend Kylie were running after him.  Ayson, meanwhile, stood up as he motored madly along, looking over his shoulder at them, laughing all the way.  I don't know what got in to him, he's never tried that trick before.  At around the same time he's been venturing in to the front yard which I am not at all comfortable with.  The little guy is fast on his feet, and it would only take a second for him to end up in the street with a car coming.  So I've been a lot more attentive this past week now that he no longer is consistently staying in the back or side yards.  Today after speech class while I was making his lunch he went outside to play with his frisbee (one of his latest favorites outdoor toys).  After a minute or two he came back in the house to ask me for help because, he said, his "fri-bee' was in the street.  It was so good to see that he is listening to me and taking what I say to heart about the caution we take near the street.  In actuality the frisbee wasn't in the street at all, rather it was about seven feet from it.  It was one of the rare times that I've seen Ace exercise caution in anything.  He's learning!
Yesterday morning he found himself a spot outside to sit and watch the golfers.  He likes to yell encouraging things to the golfers like, "Hey! Nice hit!' or loudly yelling, "Hi!" until they decide to respond to him! The US Open, it is not! Ha!
