Laundry Oddities...
I usually do about three loads of laundry twice a week. I do nothing too unusual with my laundry. I bleach all my whites, and do one load of cold and one of warm. Pretty basic. But. Every single load over the past two weeks has provided me with something unusual, strange even. Load one, I washed a quilt and some pillow cases. It all went in like normal. As I was pulling out the quilt however, something caught my eye in the basin of the washer. What is that? I wondered. Ugh. A dead gecko - I'm pretty sure it was alive before I started the load. Nice. Load two, I found some money, twisty ties and a paper clip. Okay. Load three, twigs, a handful of pea gravel, miscellaneous leaves. That's actually not unusual with Alex, my collector, around. Load four, two silk leaves (??), slightly larger rocks than the pea gravel and a big round sticker (which found itself stuck to the inside of my undies). Load five, more sticks, some coins, a bottlecap and a bone from a dead animal that Alex found while hiking on a trail. Cool. Tell me I'm not the only one this happens to!

Even without kids I have found some of those same things in my washer or dryer. The ink pen I found in the dryer is still causing issues, as it left ink stains on the barrel that I have tried everything to scrub off but magically ink every once in a while appears on the clothes! How after trying to scrub the ink off it simple rubs off at random times on wet clothes is beyond me.
Gracie & I are both laughing & Gracie's comment is "Funny!" I agree!
