Like A Kid...

Do you remember the scene in the movie "Family Man" (with Nicholas Cage & Tea Leoni) where it is Jack's birthday? As they awake on the morn of his birthday his wife Kate is so excited to give him his present, she gives it to him while she's still in her pajamas. That's sort of how it is around here. Tuesday was my true love's (yes that would be A.J.!) birthday, and as has been our custom for several years now, A.J. opened his gifts & cards from us while sipping his morning coffee (I feel like a little kid - I buy gifts for the boys or A.J. and then I can hardly wait for the day to come where they will open their surprises). It's sort of fun this way because it really starts your day off with a bang. While the rest of his day was rather low-key, I like to think that it was a little bit more special because of his early morning family celebration! :)
