After a lot of hard work and defeating the incumbent in a run-off election for Place 4 City Council seat, my wonderful husband was officially sworn in this evening. I took the boys and we were happy to see A.J. had the support of his sister and her husband as well. It was followed by a brief reception where I was able to meet some of the people whom I've heard so much about during the election process. I hope he has a good time and can make a difference in this little town. No matter what, I know he'll stay true to the ideals that won him the election in the first place.
