A.J. bought a boogie board to play with on the red flag days. He was like a little kid. Alex even tried it out. Those who know Alex know this is a fairly big deal for him especially since he's not super comfortable even in a pool, let alone the Gulf of Mexico. But he was making some really good progress and actually wanted to get out on the beach every day. At some point A.J. discovered that he could get Alex skimming (with a boogie board no less) at a pretty good clip along the water's edge. It looked like a lot of fun, but I have a feeling the fact that Alex is only 35 pounds helped make it easy. I'm pretty sure A.J. wouldn't have been able to pull me across the beach! :) Here is some skimming a la A.J. and Alex!!
