Yesterday afternoon I was getting Alex's golf bag loaded up in preparation for his evening golf lesson. Ball cap? Check. Water bottle? Check. Player yardage book? Check. I saw remnants of trash in one of the big pockets in the side of the bag. I decided I might as well clean that out too. Foam glider, miscellaneous papers and then...what's this? I pulled out an odd something. What was this? It looked sort of like a black, dried out pepper (like an ancho). More detective work was needed. It was too heavy to be a dried pepper. Besides, why would he have a dried pepper in his golf bag? Hmmm. What do you think?
Well upon further investigation, I spied a wrinkled sticker on the side. I could make out "ana." Wait a minute. Banana?! It was a now petrified banana that Alex had put in the side pocket of his golf bag (just in case he needed a snack) sometime last year. Nice. Amazingly there was no smell or stain in his bag at all. Ick.
