A year or so before we got married A.J. inherited his parents
old bottle-brush looking artificial Christmas tree. Along with it he received the reject/old ornaments. He proudly put up this tree each and every year. Apparently over time, his friends began to donate their old decrepid ornaments. The first couple years of our marriage we always had a Christmas dinner party where A.J. requested that each attendee bring a
"misfit" ornament to add to our "misfit" tree. You think I'm jesting? I assure you A.J. has a heart for this sad tree that he still continues to set up in the playroom. As you will see from the various misfit ornaments I've highlighted here, A.J. has a wife who is a
real sport! :)

You can thank me for the Troll ornament. I got that out of one of those claw machines you put a quarter in years ago when I worked at Mazzio's Pizza. I still have a troll in a Santa suit, but it's not on my tree.
I think Keith or Trey gave him the puffer fish thing.
LOL! I love the Jen & AJ ornaments! The cat and blow fish thing are a little creepy! The misfit tree is a fun tradition the boys will laugh about when they get older. You are a good sport and a great wife!
I have to tell you I love AJ all the more for loving this misfit tree. It makes him a little bit more "Charlie Brown :)
