All Aboard!

Sunday evening Alex and I had the treat of joining our good friends for a magical ride on the North Pole Express at the historic Grapevine Vintage Railroad. Thank you from the bottom of our wee little hearts, friends, for thinking of us and inviting us! :)  The event began with a festive musical stage show which our three kidlets actually participated in.  At the show's end, we exited a door and, after being greeted by the conductor, walked through a maze of pine trees, snow flakes falling as we made our way to the train.  The train ride included lots of singing and culminated in a visit from Santa in each train car.  Simply put, it was so much fun and I loved watching Alex's big brown eyes widen with excitement at the sight of the snow and Santa walking down the aisle of the car!
