Morning Trek...

Yesterday bright and early the boys and I took a bike ride. 

Because Monday the golf course is closed, we took the opportunity to ride the cart path over to the park in the neighborhood.  This always makes for an adventure for the boys - the change of scenery, the possibility of seeing a lizard, turtle or bug, curvy or hilly paths, and the golf course sprinklers we got to drive through.  It still was hot as heck outside even at 8:30 in the morning, which meant frequent stops for the boys to get a drink of water.  

Once we got to the park the boys played for about 45 minutes.  It's not a large park, but it's very nicely shaded and has a nice path around the small little lake.  It was a good break from the biking, and when the time came to go, the boys were "refreshed" and ready for our trek home.    The boys had a blast, and I got some morning exercise to boot.  What's not to like about that?!
