Saturday we had what was the last party in what seemed like a month-long birthday celebration for Alex. This party was just for him and his fellow kidlets - those are the most fun right? We had a simple, fun celebration at Buffalo Nickels (see here). Thankfully, very thankfully, the only time we had to step foot outdoors was for the kids to play a round of mini-golf. The remainder of the time was spent in the air conditioning - er, playing in the arcade. I love to see my boys having a good time in the company of their closest friends. Somewhere in this coming week he will be writing out his thank yous to everyone - that will be an interesting experiment in patience on both of our parts. Next on my agenda? Planning Ayson's 3rd birthday which falls in the second week in September. Oh how tempting it was to make yesterday's birthday party a double celebration!! :)
Alex & Ayson: ready to do a little mini-golfing!
Lining up to get their clubs & golf balls. Such a great group of kids.
My two little golfers. Ayson only lasted about four or five holes, after that he was more content running around the golf area, or just plopping his ball in to various holes here and there.

I love all the kids in their "golf" hats - that was genius. Especially with the sun blazing down on them. I feel your pain of 2 birthdays in 2 months!!
