After church today we went outside and planted our little family vegetable garden. We prepped the soil and then planted our salad favorites...two varieties of carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, green onions and radishes. Now we wait! We had pretty good luck last summer with our tomatoes and cucumbers, so we're really branching out this year and hoping for even greater success! I'll get back to you in a couple months on that.

Watching the boys' enthusiasm as they mixed fertilizer and soil, and then added teeny seeds to the rows reminded me of this song...
