Easter Goodness...

Being with our church family at Pantego Bible Church for the Easter morning celebration was the perfect way to kick off our day. I can't imagine beginning our day any other way...yes, it's that good. It was a delight to see the boys easily acknowledging that Easter goes way beyond the fictitious bunny (as fun as that is); and having their souls fed to overflowing with the comprehension and joy of what grace and salvation are all about.

After church we headed to our friends, Phillip and Malinda's, house for our 4th annual Easter lunch and egg hunt. We really look forward to having all of our children together for this fun dinner and activities. They all have a blast playing together for hours, and of course Phillip and Malinda are the consummate hosts.

It was a long, busy day. Long, but good. Good friends, good food, and good fun. It's fun to do a side-by-side comparison of the Easter photos we've taken over the last four years - the changes in these kids is crazy. Alex was only five years old and Ayson  was only two year old when we began our gatherings! Time flies! But we're creating great memories and our own traditions!
At the end of our day, this is how some of us felt! Exhausted! Ayson fell asleep, hair still damp from his bubble bath. He was out cold! That's the sign of a good day! :)
