Who knew that sharpening pencils could be so much fun? I found two pencil sharpeners in my desk drawer and gave them to the boys not knowing it would send them on a pencil-sharpening rampage. They spent a half hour sharpening about 25 new pencils. Their productivity was breathtaking. Wow! If I'd only known how easy to please they were! :)
This morning the boys were entertained by a small toad they had caught and temporarily caged. They petted it, watched it pee in the cage, named it and just sat there watching it. Good stuff, nature.
