Nine...

My sweet boy turned nine years old Sunday. I can't believe that this is the last year of him being in the single digits! Fortunately this sweet child of mine still loves to cuddle while we read books to him or if we're watching a t.v. show together.  He still loves cute cartoons, playing with Legos and his Matchbox cars, pretending, making forts with blankets, and even his stuffed animals. How blessed we are that he belongs to us!

We had a very small celebration after church (as evidenced by the Pepperidge Farm chocolate cake!). This Saturday we'll have a joint party for the boys with family.  So the boys will both get their party fix - just on a much smaller scale than what they've had over the past five years.  To quote Martha Stewart, "It's a good thing!" :)
