Yesterday afternoon Nanny & Grampy brought Alex back from their play date together. As he met me at the garage door he pushed a glass Claussen jar in my face. What is that? I didn't even need to ask really. I knew what it was. It was Alex's new snake he found at Nanny's house. Ugh. But I tried really hard to be a cool mom and just reminded him to keep it outside. Goodbyes were said to the grandparents and then Alex headed to the back yard with Ayson following closely behind. Within five minutes I noticed the two of them looking under our deck and in my purple shamrocks. I popped my head outside to see what was going on and Alex solemnly told me that Slither (that was his snake's name) escaped. When asked how, he said he had put the snake on the ground to put more grass in the jar & then Ace touched the snake and it took off. I did a quick search of the area to see if we could find it, but it was no use...Slither had slithered away. Alex really was sad...he quickly posted this little note on our front door hoping that if anyone found Slither they'd return him. So far nothing. I'm trying not to be too sad. ;)
It reads, "Lost my snake. Love, Alex" - followed by a picture of his snake.

I am dying that you still have those note pads.
Oh darn! It got away, right? At least it wasn't loose in your house.
Love it! Thanks for another good laugh.
