It's always an exciting time when Grandad & Grammy come to visit. As is always the case, the time flew by too quickly, but we made the most out of our 4 1/2 days together. I can imagine during their visits how it might be had they lived here year round - minus the 24/7 time together - that would be pushing it even for the most loving of grandparents! :) Could there be two grand kids who possibly enjoyed being with their grandparents more than my two? Grandad may have regretted getting in to horseplay mode with the boys, as it became a nightly ritual for the three of them. He held up pretty well under the tag team wrestling duo. Grammy stayed home to take care of Ayson while we went to church Sunday. When we returned home he was in bed napping after spending at least an hour reading every single book in the book basket in his room. Was this my child? The child who barely let us read more than one book at a time? Since that day his interest level in reading has skyrocketed. Hmm. Yes, we had a good visit. Can't wait to see them again on our road trip to Minnesota over the Christmas holidays.
