Friday Ayson and I attended a "Pow Wow" for the kindergarten class to wrap up their study of native Americans. They did some singing, crafts, face painting, and helped make Indian fry bread to eat with their venison jerky. Ayson got in on some of the jerky and thought it was pretty tasty. At one point while Mrs. Matejka was reading the kids a story Ayson kept saying in a rather loud voice, "More! Bite!" My job while there was to help them make their headbands and help them chose an Indian name. Alex chose the name "Howling Wind." I thought that was quite appropriate for him! :)
Ayson, not interested in the festivities, had more fun playing at the computer station with a friend.
