Hot Rods & Hot Dogs...Doing Father's Day Right...

Our church has a standing tradition on Father's Day called "Hot Rods & Hot Dogs."  After an awesome time at church, they pack out a section of the parking lot with a classic car show and have the grills packed with hot dogs and other yummy goodies.  It has always been fun for the boys and A.J. (and me too), and this year it expanded to include a helicopter and motorcycles.  It's a heck of a way to kick off the day for all of our Dads.

My men taking a break in the shade to dine on some tasty eats...

They actually had a few cars that even I was impressed with and decided to photograph & share with you...
Check out the fins on this Impala - this was pristine and really lovely.  A.J. and I could envision ourselves packing the boys in the back and then taking the boys out for ice cream!
Jeeps! We love our Jeeps!

How can you not love this VW bus?? Let's go on a road trip y'all!

Finally, here is a wonderfully comical video shown at the beginning of our church service...this struck a major chord with both A.J. and me (Boys, watch out!)...check out "My Dream Father's Day."
