Fore!!

Ayson works on a putt at Z-Boaz while Alex plays with his class.
It's that time of year again.  Once Alex began his spring golf lessons, Ayson also pulled out his golf clubs, tees and balls.  Afternoons and evenings are once again frequently spent with him hitting balls from the edge of our driveway out to the fairway.  He now is fairly consistently hitting 75 yard shots that edge up to the cart path.  That's all well and good, great even.  We had a wee problem two days ago however.  After Ayson hits a number of balls out on to the fairway, he'll run down to collect the balls so he can do it all over again.  He used to run out with a bucket but lately he must have thought it more efficient to get to the fairway and just turn around and hit them back toward the house.

So Tuesday evening Ayson was out hitting balls while I helped Alex with his homework and A.J worked in his office.  We suddenly heard a loud crash coming from A.J.'s office.  Had something fallen in the office bathroom? Had a server blown up? What on earth? Then Alex exclaimed, "The window!" Sure enough there was a nice sized hole in A.J.'s office window.  A.J. headed outside to find a very guilty (and admittedly apologetic) looking little blonde haired, blue-eyed boy.  It probably would have been a great shot if our house hadn't been in the way! :) Golfing might not be Ayson's sport - so far we have a broken window (on our back door) from a golf club, and now a broken window from a golf ball - all courtesy of Ayson.  :) Here's to a summer of golfing and no more broken windows!!
