Friday was the annual pumpkin carving at Alex's elementary school. A.J. did the honors and helped, along with other parents, carve pumpkins for Alex's class. The pumpkins were then transferred to the neighborhood across the street from school, to be displayed on the long stone wall along the road for the evening (such an awesome thing for the neighborhood home builder, Homes By Towne, to do in partnership with our school). So Friday evening we took a stroll down "Pumpkin Lane" to look at all of the lit pumpkins, and enjoyed some snacks, glow sticks, and fun Halloween music. A perfect autumn evening activity.
