A Good Read...

When I do the treadmill I usually turn on the tv and try to find something mindless to make the time go faster.  Back when I was still a bonafide gym member, I could easily pass the time looking at magazines, talking to a girlfriend, or watching people.  It's a different story when you're working out at home.  Friday when workout time rolled around I took a quick glance at a growing pile of books on my bedside table and picked one with a cover that particularly appealed to me (shallow, I know).  My plan was to save the book for reading only during my workouts.  After the first chapter I was utterly hooked and realized saving it for workouts only was simply not going to happen.  It was too good.  I love when a book grabs you within the first few pages.  It is like you have found a treasure.  So this has all started me back on a reading kick which I have not taken the time to do since Ayson's arrival.  There are so many books remaining on my nightstand  - I hope they're all close to as good as the one I've just finished.  I highly recommend Beverly Lewis' The Betrayal.  I actually got the book for 50 cents at a library book sale.  You never know what you might find at those little sales!

Don't forget to read Twilight! I didn't read them for the longest time because I didn't want anything to do with Teenage Vampires. But once I read the first one, I was hooked.
