Traitor...

As I walked out the door last weekend to pick up a few items at Kroger, A.J. added toilet paper to my grocery list. Being the new year and all, I thought it would be a good time to renew my commitment to saving money at the grocery store. So I browsed aisles and filled my cart, and as I turned a corner, there sitting on an end cap were shelves full of Charmin toilet paper on sale. But as I looked at the price I became doubtful of the deal and felt certain it would be better priced at Target, which is almost always the case. So I passed it up. I didn't feel like stopping at another store on the way home though so I did what I swore I would never do: I bought another brand - Cottonelle, to be specific. It was cheap and I liked the look of the ridges on the tissue. Toilet paper is something I've always been brand loyal to. But now I regret the betrayal. Now I'm stuck with four rolls of awful Cottonelle. What was I thinking? We might as well be using the single ply tp found in any public restroom in America. Ugh. I know it may sound ridiculous, but sometimes it's these minute little things that make every day living just a little more pleasant. Charmin, I'm coming back and I'll never stray again.

I like Cottonelle. That's what I always buy. What I buy is thick though, so I'm not sure what you got. Just put it in AJs office bathroom. He'll never know the difference.

Funny! I was going to write a blog post about brand loyalty. There is just somethings that I just have to buy a certain brand of, others just don't do. The toilet paper I always buy is Cottonelle. I like the Charmin, but with 3 girls, it just doesn't fit in our budget. We go through a roll a day. Not sure if that is normal or not. I did test out Targets generic brand "up & up" toilet paper and I actually liked it. It is cheaper even than Cottonelle, but not the quality of Charmin so you probably wouldn't like it. Guess you get what you pay for :)
I wonder if Cottonelle has different qualities of TP?
