This evening we had the delight of having Alex's kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Matejka, come by to read Alex a bedtime story and prayer. What a lovely lady she is with such a heart for these precious little people. Alex was beside himself with excitement as he waited on the front walk for her car to pull up. She arrived dressed in darling Nick & Nora pajamas with sock monkey slippers and carrying an armload of books and a sock monkey; and Alex showed her to his room and showed her his digs. :) Then she and he snuggled up, picked out a book and began the story, "Tops and Bottoms." After the story, she tucked him in and then said the sweetest prayer with and for him, followed by a big kiss and hug. What a way for a kindergartner to end his day!
