It wasn't until I downloaded some pictures the other day that I realized I had taken a picture of Alex in his "tacky tourist" get-up for school a week ago. His class was studying travel, reading directions and had a scavenger hunt where they read a map leading them to different places in the school and finding things. What fun they had. But try finding tacky clothing for a kid! We tried to put something together but it was pretty tame by tacky standards. Bucket hat? Check! Day-glow sunglasses with holders? Check! Fanny pack? Check! Binoculars? Check! And finally, socks with sandals? Check!
