He's Home!

Wednesday evening we drove over to our church, Pantego Bible Church, and awaited the arrival of the five large buses bringing back kiddos from summer camp at Carolina Creek. We survived Alex being away for five days, but honestly by day four A.J. and I were both ready to have him back home. Five days is officially our record for the number of days we've been separated. After waiting about a half hour we heard the sound of the buses coming and two pulled in to the parking lot - the boys buses! We could see Alex and his buddy Grant in the second row and within about two minutes Alex bounded down the steps of the bus with a sheepish sort of grin as he took in the "Yay Alex!" from us, his grandparents and Grant's parents. It was so good to see his sweet face again! He had a wonderful time and lots of fun experiences and fun little stories. We're so glad he had the opportunity to go! And this mama is really happy to have her little chick back in the nest! :)
