Following a yummy Christmas dinner we gathered for the annual family Christmas photo. After figuring out how to use the timer setting on the various cameras, we gathered to pose in front of the tree...flash starts blinking quickly, "smile boys!" spoken through our own teeth-together smiles...snap...photo taken. Just like at a million other homes across America.
And we managed to take a photo where we didn't look like we belonged in the Adams Family (too bad for the glare from the giant tv)! Hurray! A Christmas miracle! :)
After presents were opened the boys excitedly ventured in to the back yard with Alex's new metal detector to hunt for treasure (that Nanny had actually buried in the yard earlier). Within minutes of them being outside it began to snow! We were thrilled! Snow on Christmas in Texas! It was a very dry snow and there was little accumulation but it was snow, and that was good enough for us!
Oh, and for the photo album, A.J. with his Clark Griswold egg nog moose mug that he got from his parents.
Ah, memories...
