The "Field Trip..."

In the preschool world we take only one field trip each school year. It's always to the same place - about 100 yards from the school door down to the church pumpkin patch! But to the kidlets it's a pretty big deal! I asked Ace if he wanted me to come along and he said yes, so it was a date with my boy. They do a great job with the children at the pumpkin patch.  They got their photo taken and then moved to a station where they made a frame for the photo, then on to a cookie-decorating/eating station, followed by story time and fun songs while sitting around on bales of hay, and then finishing up by picking out their very own pumpkin. It was a gorgeous day for their little field trip and they had a blast.  

 Ayson surprised me by actually getting up and singing a duet with one of his friends, in a microphone no less!
