Video Games At Our House...

We don't do the Wii, DS, or any other game systems.  Once in a rare while, Alex will play some games on PBSKids, or on approved (by us) children's educational web sites.  The closest thing to a "real" video game we have is one of the $19.99 plug-in retro-style video games (a box with a joystick and two buttons that plugs right in to the old t.v.).  Alex plays with it every now and then, and is learning the ropes of the oldies-but-goodies games like Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug and Pole Position.  It always makes me grin when I hear the opening "theme" to Pac-Man - it's like I've been transported back to 1981.  :)
