Getting Out Of The House...

In the middle of the afternoon yesterday, the warmth & mugginess in the air magically disappeared and a lovely cold front swooped in and it suddenly felt like fall again.  Within an hour or two, we had swapped our shorts for long pants and headed for the park with the boys' bikes in tow.  It felt so good breathing in that fresh cool air, and it left us invigorated and refreshed.  The boys rode their bikes in the parking lot at the park and then we all played on the playground.  One of the many times it's so awesome having kids and some free time!
Ayson has become more adept each day with his bike riding skills.  Yesterday's accomplishments included  pedaling while standing, and then doing fishtail skids.  The kid is a nut!
Alex biked, ran, and climbed non-stop.  Don't ask why he doesn't have on long bottoms - even with his lack of chub to keep him warm, his preference was shorts!
And even A.J. & I enjoyed a little play time :) This is my favorite thing at the park.  If there aren't many kids around I love to take a spin around - though if you're on it for much more than a minute or two it feels like your arms are going to be pulled out of their sockets! Still lots of fun!

Looks like a great time! We're loving this weather, too. Maybe you can have Ayson give JM some bike lessons.
