He's A Star...

Yesterday evening we were thoroughly entertained by Alex's 2nd grade class program entitled "Heroes."  In past programs he has been in - and there have been many - there has always been lots of singing.  And the funny thing about watching Alex has been observing his, what I would call, nervous stage tics (sp?).  Every single performance, the moment he was on stage he'd begin sort of sniffing like he was developing a cold, clearing his throat a lot, and wiping at his nose.  Those things would magically disappear the moment he exited the stage.  So I was a little curious how last night's program was going to go for him since he had a healthy speaking part.  But my kidlet never fails to amaze me.  Not only did he know his lines perfectly but he also said them clearly and loud enough to be heard.  A very composed young man.  It was an awesome program and the  music and speaking parts were all so very well done. Excellent job, my sweet boy! :)

Way to go, Alex! I'm really proud of you and not in the least surprised. You are, indeed, a star!
