Saturday afternoon Alex finally got to have his 6th birthday party! For the first time we ventured outside of the house to have a party for he and a few of his friends. And in spite of my many nights prior to the party fretting, it ended up being good fun for Alex and his pals. When will I learn that worrying is just a waste of time and that I can't have everything under my control? :) But, back to the party. Yes, it was a fun time. We had it at the Art Barn Studio. Alex wanted to have everyone paint some ceramics (I tried to get him to do mosaics but that was probably more so I could do it!) so their time was spent painting greenware. It was funny to have it be so quiet as everyone concentrated on their little projects...
