If you were to come over to my house right now, say, for a cup of coffee, this is what you'd find on our back deck. Toys. Strewn about the deck and yard. And you know what? I even let them stay out there overnight rather than putting them all back in their proper spots at the end of the day (like my typical o. c. personality would have me do!). Spring makes me feel a little more carefree like that.
The kids played for hours at a time outdoors. Alex & Kylie have been working for about two days on a very elaborate worm farm by the playground set. Apparently they've found some grubs too - remind me to talk to our lawn guy about that! More signs of spring.
Ayson was extra busy practicing for his future as a water meter reader... :)
...or perhaps a career as a sidewalk chalk artist. Neither are necessarily signs of spring, but he sure was having fun outside in the lovely spring weather.
Sometimes spring just makes us feel like kicking back in the hot tub room and enjoying each others company for a while.
And lest I forget, a real sign that spring is here...
