Girl & Boy met online in the summer of 1999. She lived in Nashville, Tennessee, he in Texas. It wasn't long though before they lost contact. Amazingly they somehow reconnected online yet again in January 2000 (Boy said it was a "God thing" - Girl agreed). They met each other face to face for the first time the end of February 2000. One of their first "dates" was to the Jack Daniels Distillery! :)
They decided on a third meeting, which just so happened to be on lucky St. Patrick's Day.
This time Girl flew to DFW, her first time ever in the Lone Star State. When she got off the plane, Boy was waiting with flowers in hand. He got down on one knee and (to quote song lyrics sung by Darlene Love) "a band of gold appeared before me."
Five months later on September 9, 2000, they were married...
...and they are living happily ever after, still!
Just one of their many good things!
Sometimes good things can come from modern technology! :)

You know, I vaguely knew the story but for some reason I didn't realize things happened so quickly! It was definitely a God thing :) Happy engagement anniversary
We thought of you yesterday, remembered your phone call to us and how we too were getting used to
new technology and how young people could meet a life partner.
Of course, as soon as we met our wonderful future son-in-law, in Al of all places, we saw how God can
work out things in wonderful ways.
