Pinewood Derby...

Last weekend Alex went to the Cub Scouts district Pinewood Derby races. While he didn't get first place in his group like last year, he did manage to get 3rd place and his car was chosen as the favorite for his group. It was healthy for him to practice his good sportsmanship even though I know he was a bit disappointed. He rose to the occasion like I knew he would, and still had a lot of fun!

 I think getting two trophies eased the pain of not getting first place! :)
