Now that we have officially broken the record (as of two days ago with a temperature of 107 no less) for the most days of 100+ degree temperatures (70 days!), we can now say adios to summer. Today was simply amazing - it was in the low 80's but it actually felt fall-like. Perhaps that is what happens when it's over 100 all summer long. You just get acclimated, right? So I'm thinking 50 degrees is going to feel frigid! Anyway, when both the kidlets were home from school in the afternoon, they played outside until dinner, and even a while afterwards.. It was so awesome to be able to do that and to be comfortable. Finally. Autumn, I love you so!
So, here is what afternoon play looked like outside at our house...

| Alex sneaking up on his target... |
| Hoping he'll bring home a nice buck, no doubt (even with his cap [hand] gun!)... |
He is such a handsome boy!! :)
And while Alex was practicing hunting, Ayson was at the "driving range" (actually just hitting balls from our yard toward the fairway). |
| It takes a long time to get that little ball on that little tee! |
| The look of concentration...tongue frequently sticking out. |
| Swing! |
| Admiring his shot... |
