Things Are Going Swimmingly...

Tomorrow we wrap up two weeks of swim lessons for the boys.  What has surprised me the most over these past two weeks is how great Alex has done, and how much he enjoys the lessons and looks forward to them every day.  It absolutely thrills me that this summer he has so drastically overcome (in a very big way) his fear of water!  I'm so proud of him.  Ayson has greatly improved as well.  While he (for now) still insists on swimming with his head out of the water, he is actually swimming.  Today he made it the width of the pool - head out of the water the entire way.  He is one determined little boy.  He also jumped off the wall of the pool and swam back to the edge again by himself - I was pretty shocked to say the least.  We've been really fortunate to find such great teachers for the boys - can't wait to take all three sessions next summer!!
