The Colonium...

Today brought wonderful fun for Alex, as he enjoyed his second Colonial (aka Crowne Plaza Invitational - or the "Colonium" if you're Alex) golf tournament.  His first visit to the Colonial was when he was almost three years old.  He was dressed in the cutest little golf outfit, and he was so good for his age and even remained quiet at all the proper times.  We walked around to various holes and enjoyed watching various pros do their thing.  After several hours we moved to some seats overlooking one of the holes.  The area was packed with people.  When it was nice and quiet Alex spoke loudly in his little voice and said, "When can we eat??" Instead of getting perturbed stares from all the other folks, there was a scattering of chuckles from everyone.  As we made our way out of the stands to seek out some lunch everyone smiled at our little cutie...
See, I told you he was a cutie!

But today he went to the Colonial as a seven year old and had the time of his life.  A.J. and he left early in the morning and didn't get home until late in the afternoon.  Alex was quiet - the sort of quiet when kids are plum worn out, but content.  It was a good way to kick off his upcoming summer break, and get him excited about his upcoming golf classes this summer.  I love my little golfer!!
Alex with JJ Henry for the check presentation for his Henry House Foundation.  Can you spot Alex? Hint: look for the smallest kidlet in the group! :)
